Another dead buck on 121!!
11-19-2015, 04:32 PM
Headed to work this morning and saw a buck that got hit either late last night or this morning on my exit for work off of 121 and old Denton road. Decent little 9 point. Lots of bucks popping up around the Plano, Frisco, Lewisville area.

There are some monsters in the Elm Fork Trinity bottoms through there. Seen a few that dropped my jaw.

Yup that is 121 business to the right in the one pic. I saw a doe back in May that was hit on 121 just east of this one.

That's meat in the freezer boys! Don't even have to use a tag for it. The back straps out of freshly hit deer are nice and tender

AND VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE....
call the game warden so he can issue a tag... otherwise that is breaking the law

So it is legal to get a deer off the side of the road if you contact the game warden first?

If they give you permission to, yes.
They'll most likely take your info down for records. But legal
and no tag.
You can always save a little meat, but a lot of it is lost.

Did the game warden ask any questions or did he just say to take it?
Always been curious and that
