    Spotting scope question

Have a $500.00-$600.00 budget. Which one do y'all recommend is best bang for the buck. Or is it even worth getting one for that price? Will be used from top drive/truck window/blind. Not going to be doing any 5 mile pack in trips in the near future!!!!
I know Arrowsmith?? on here sells good glass but not sure if my budget falls anything but his lowest line?

You won't do better than that Brunton that was on the classifieds here, for that amount of money.

I have a redfield that I use out of the truck and it works great for animals and for checking targets to 200yds

              Kowa with a 20-60x eyepiece

I made the mistake of selling mine and regret that decision everyday

They all magnify. What your are paying for is the crisp clarity of the glass.

To answer your question, you can get as good of glass as you want just like binoculars. I had a cheap ol spotting scope from bass pro that wasn't even $100 and until it literally broke in half after a couple years of use it was great. I could look at deer 500 yards away and see exactly what they were. I'd say if that's all youre going to use it for, you don't need to spend even $500 unless you just want some way better glass that you are going to take care of.

Sorry. My reply came across as a smart ***. Didn't mean for it to.
