I need the windshield replaced in my 02 F250. I have quotes from $135 to $200. When I have asked the difference between the low priced version and the high priced version everyone responds that the low priced version is from China and will shortly discolor, delaminate, etc. Is there any truth to this or is this just a way to sell the $135 product for $200?

Ford glass sucks!
That's my only complaint I have ever had about ford.
I've replaced at least 7 windshields and I've bought every price range.
Which I usually only get 2... A $200 and a $600 the difference being the "Ford F150" tint decal along the top of the glass.
I've never noticed any of the glass discoloring.
But then again, I've never been offered a glass at $135....
So take that for what it's worth.Comment

I replaced the one on my '99 f350 with one of those 135.00 installed jobs thinking the worse, while we were there safe-lite and several other smaller auto glass companies were in there getting windshields, my wife and I watched in disbelief, we too her Tahoe there a few months later and saw the same thing, no issues with glass we got from thereComment

UNI Glass on Hopper road!
I have replaced 5 windshields over the last 6 years and they are factory replacement glass! My z71 was a 100.00 and my Tundra was 110.00 Cash only! My wifes expedition was 125.00!
I have sent multitudes of people to them and everyone is happy!Comment
