    Looking for small metal buckets

Everything came in them at one time or another. I am lookng for buckets or barells that are metal and at the largest 20 gallon. If they are smaller I could weld two of them together. Im in the Austin area and looking for something smaller than a 55 0r 30 gallon so it is portable and can be thrown up with a come along easily. Thanks for any suggestions.

check with a diesel service center and ask if they have any 15-18 gal grease drums, we used to get them from one in longview and we would pressure wash them at the car wash to get the remnants out, they hold 100# of corn...

I've used galvanized trash cans from Home Depot Work really well for about $10. They come in a couple of different sizes so you could pick the size you want. I killed both my deer underneath a 100# capacity trash can feeder this year.

Matt - what did you use for legs?

I didn't use legs I used a rope hooked to a pulley to facilitate lowering the can to fill it and hoist it back up. Worked pretty well. Not sure I have any photos of it, but you can see it in my buck video from this year:

That's a pretty cool idea. Did you use a funnel in it?

I used a funnel down by the timer like you usually do, but I didn't use an internal funnel... wasn't worth messing with. Critter76 and I have turned into feeder mounting specialists.... feel free to ask about our tree step/ratchet strap mounting system also lol

THe quick lube places have those 18gal(I think) grease drums. Just right for a small feeder. Hang them or put legs on them. They work well.
