unlikely I think. They are seasonal breeders with smallish litters of 2-4 piglets once a year. I'll admit I'd love to have another type of pig to shoot though.

Last thing we need is more pigs in Texas. If you want a warthog, go to Africa. I wish we had a safe way to poison every pig in Texas

I wonder how they taste compared to a feral hog

I like having pigs. Gives me something to hunt during the off season, and I liked eating them too

They aren't as bad as hogs.

Yeah, my son was on a youth hunt there last year and we were told by the biologist that took us to our compartment to shoot a warthog if we saw it. I asked him to repeat what he said and i heard him right the first time. Been wondering when someone was going to smack one.
that cracked me up, exactly what I would have thought

I bet Jack Brittingham brought them over, he had his own concession in Africa for awhile. If Jeff Rann at the 777 ranch can import cape buffaloes I'm sure Jack could bring over a few pigs on his plane.

I believe it was the ranch on the west fence line. They have found piglets...so there are gonna be more targets.

I don't mind a few pigs, the problem is that is not an option.

That friend must be the lawyer for the ranch my friend is a part of. Here is the pic. My buddy saw one the week before this guy was shot.
