    Photography help

I know there are a few that mess with photography on here. With that being said my wife ordered a vinyl Christmas back drop. The lights we have produce a glare. How do we get rid of the glare?

Bright lights + shiny surfaces = glare. Gotta get rid of one of the two in order to get rid of glare, most likely.

Post an example pic or two, and maybe it would help.

Very tough without the right type of lights. I want a green screen so I can change backdrops via software.

If you're using backlighting maybe try to drape a sheet to help diffuse?

Going to be tough to get rid of using vinyl imo but try the drape and indirect position of your lights to see if that helps.

A couple of options for you,

              1. You have to light the background and foreground separately the background needs to be very side lit, from one or both sides, and you subject needs to be lit from the side and filled a little with a bounce or a card.

              2. If you are using umbrellas or boxes, light from high above.

              3. Flash on camera is not your friend here. You might try upping the iso to 800 or 1600 and going with a bounce flash if your ceiling is white, and your prints won't be very big.
