So I have been trying to make if to my ranch from r the past three wknds and I have either had to work or it is raining. So this weekend seemed like it was going to be a good on and bam all of a sudden my throat is on fire and my tonsils and all white with blisters on them. I had my gf call me in a prescription, got a bottle of Tylenol and Motrin, and a case of Campbell's finest chicken noodle so hopefully I can manage to finally hunt. Praying it works out

Use mixture of water & vinegar to rinse & gargl will put the fire out as well or it does for me. The mix ratio on the vinegar to water is the most vinegar you can tolerate with out gagging... I generally pour about one ounce of vinegar than fill the rest of the regular size glass with water. Do it a few times an hour or until the the mixture runs out.

Do what you want, but I can't imagine that going hunting with your throat on fire would be enjoyable.
Plus, a sniffling nose and coughing probably won't do much to help get a deer in range.

If you are going to feel bad anyway and already have your meds, why not hunt? It will make you feel better to be out there than staring out the window. My right foot is out with plantar fasciaitis now, and I can't walk or drive, in part because I would not stay home to let it heal. Now I have no choice but to stay home while the bucks are running.
