can it be proved and convicted

Neighbors cut two sections of high fence. One was 10 ft long and they peeled it back. The other was 20ft.long and they cut it and removed it. Game Warden is working on it but curious if anyone here has had the same experience. Talk about a way to make you mad. And the bigger question is how to prevent it from being an ongoing issue. Btw, this place has been fenced since before we had it and it has never been an issue until now.

Set up cameras and catch them in the act.

Fence cutting is a state jail felony, if found guilty. Good luck catching them..

Just out of curiosity... Was this fence 5-10ft on your property or right on the property line?

I'd say start putting up well hidden trail cameras in those areas.

I would think keep the fence row cleaned would prevent them from cutting it...No clue on your situation but I would think they cut it somewhere where it was thicker and less obvious..

Other than that all you can do is trail cameras I reckon

That the neighbor cut the fence. And put them in jail or fine them.

It's clean and drivable. Our foreman drives it every week which is how he found it.

The issue with trail camera's is this is probably a mile long Fence or more. Not sure how big their place is that joins it, but I do know that their place is small.

Not sure. It was there when we got the place.

Not trying to be an a hole but if it's on the property line it's part his fence correct? I think that's why people leave up the old fence and put the high fence 6"-10" back on thier land. I hunted a place that two bulls got into a fight and they tore about 40 yards of the high fence down.

Are you attempting to justify what he did...?
