Ragin (Jason) you need not read past this

However, it will break down. I have replaced forward/neutral switch, Both rear axle bearings, key switch, charge indicator meter. rear differ. would not hold oil (no sealant from factory), Front motor started leaking oil, left rear brake shoe came apart. last but not leist, I hit a small rock on New Years day on the front differ. and both hanger springs sheared of and the ENTIRE front end came out from under it. What an ordeal getting it home. There is now a strange noise coming from rear end.
Customer service is TOPS at Bad Boy. They will tell you whats wrong and how to fix it. Parts will be in the mail that day. Thats about enough
That is awsome hauling and that may explain the breakdowns. I need to check out the differences "motor" wise between regular golf cart etc.

$8 - $10K!!!! I had no idea that was the going rate. I could buy a two door Jeep Wrangler for that. I don't need to sneak up on critters since I bowhunt 99% of the time.
I have a golf cart in the garage that has not been used since Thanksgiving when my nieces from Dallas were in town riding around the neighborhood!

I wonder sometimes why these guys spend 12-16k on a side by side when a hwy ready used Jeep can be had for less?

But then again, if I was wealthy I would like the little toys as well. Heck if Nuge has one why not us?

We absolutely love ours. We have had it for about 8 months now and have had no issues, and we are pretty hard on it up in those hill country rocks. It has all the power you could want and the top rack will hold 450 pounds, so you could hunt from there if you wanted to I guess.

The only thing that I do not like at times is the speed as it is not nearly as fast as a ranger or mule, but when I am at the ranch I usually am not in that big of a hurry anyway.

I used to think that until I started hunting wooded river bottom property. Many trails I go on, a Jeep is just too large. If you hunt in South Texas, I would go Jeep all the way. By the way, what side by side is 12-16K? Maybe the Kabota? I bought a brand new Ranger for $9200.

I really like the idea of side by sides. Think about it this way: you have a couple hunters, that can share a vehicle with 1000 lb. bed capacity, at a price less than buying 2 large 4 wheelers. I have to say, the ride is a hell of a lot more comfortable than a 4 wheeler.

oh yah, as for the BBB's, I rode on one once and it was a quite little sucker. It seemed to have more than enough power. Still don't think I would replace my Ranger with it.

There is a guy in town who sells used jeeps. He has a fully loaded automatic 4x4 jeep with mud tires and the works, road ready etc. He has dubbed it the king ranch edition because he took some king ranch seats and the center console out of an f-150 and put them in the jeep. He is asking almost 10k for it,o yea i think it has a newly rebuilt motor too. just a little fyi because I have looked at the bbb and rangers etc.., but I think this might be a better route for me to persue
