Sorry for the lack of updates folks. We found the deer. We did a grid search with five people.
It ran towards the Yegua and with all the rain it was a mess. I just got it put up and back in the camper. It was one of 5 bucks running a doe. There were two really nice deer in the group and I shot a very heavy 8 pt with a 15 inch spread and over 5 inch bases probably a 127 inch deer. I video' the larger deer and guessing him in the 130's,but was younger than the deer i shot. I have a new iPhone and can't figure the picture thing out, so I know I'll catch much deserved grief over no LDP's.
