My brother just bought a 2012 w/ 59k miles. That think is a beast. Somebody said they wouldn't call them a beast....I don't know what that person's been driving but or expects for a stock truck, but it was VERY strong when I drove it for a couple of days. My next truck will likely be similar to his. It was an awesome rude IMHO

2011 had turbo issues as well.
Before you buy a truck you may want to see what is actually available as far as deletes. Many of the companies that used to do it have stopped. EPA got deep in that *** pocket.
The tuners have come a long way though as far as cleaning up the tunes. This in turn has helped save the DPF's and prolonged their life expectancy.
What ever you do.....Do some home work.

Then she becomes a REAL beast!
Most complaining I hear is from Dodge owners with large mirrors that wish the had bought the Ford.
Definitely in a different league than the two prior diesel engines.

she's got 135K on her without a single hiccup.
now that I've said that ..... she's also for sale.
a repair at this point won't be $5K - it will probably be closer to 15K, not a risk I'm willing to take, so I'm about to trade her in or sell her.
