The one place a guy wouldn't mind some printing, lol.
I'm thinking I need to get me one of these, but I don't think my 1911 will be too comfortable to carry like that

I saw that the other day and was curious. Video made it seem simple and easy.

I've seen them and think they are cool. Only problem I see is that it requires 2 hands. May not be good if an attacker is at arms length.

Not trying to be a stick in the mud, and I'm glad people are trying out new concepts but here's my take.

                  1. I see no way to access the gun sitting down or crouched behind cover.

                  2. It requires both hands to draw. What if you're busy using your off hand to push your attacker away or block, or if it becomes trapped or incapacitated?

                  3. It's universal. That's cost effective, but the gun has the ability to move around inside the holster. When you need to draw, there's no guarantee it will be oriented the exact same way, every time.

These disadvantages come in order to conceal better. I've been carrying every day for 9 years. I've carried 1911s, full size double stacks, compacts, single stack subcompacts. I've never had a problem with concealment in a regular, good IWB holster setup. All my holsters are comfortable, concealeable, and most importantly retain the gun securely, covering the trigger, keeping the gun oriented the exact same way every time so i can quickly access it with my shooting grip, with one hand, in whatever position i may be in.

I bought one and have been wearing it for the past month on and off. For the points made above by other guys I will probably not be wearing it much longer. Gonna stick with it for now and give it a honest try.

If I wore my belt loose enough to pull the gun out I'd constantly have to pull my pants up.

Those have been out for along time. I think the first ones were called Pager Pal. You clipped your pager to it and it work in the same principle.
