Need tip on building a cow shelter

I need to build a shelter for our cows - sometimes called a loafing shed - just one of those 3-walled structures they can get under to block a cold wind/rain. This will be about 10 by 16, 10 by 18 feet. Maybe 8 feet high, 6 feet in the back. Just a frame welded from angle iron, with some corrugated metal panels screwed onto it.

Question is, what size angle iron should I use? Would 2x2x1/8 be too light? 1/4 is heavier, but quite a bit more expensive.

You could also do one of those $695 carport and put side on 3 sides...

I'd like to use pipe, like drill casing, something like that, but don't have any way of cutting the saddles.

Could use old telephone poles and skin it with tin. It will be there a long time.

Forgot to mention..... tons of subsurface rock slab out here. No post holes.

Old phone poles? Never thought about it! They would be heavy enough that you wouldn't have to make post holes and it wouldn't blow over. But why put tin over it?
