I began checking out the website for classmates a couple weeks ago and saw a profile from a girl that i went to grade school with. I had not seen or heard from her in about 33 years. I sent her an e-mail and ofcourse she remebered me well and we got to talking about other long time friends. This evening, i met one of the kids i grew up with and played baseball with. Our last team together was 1975 and our families were really tight {our dad's were the coaches for 6 years} until we had to go to different junior high schools. it was a trip seeing him again {i got his number from her}. I called her tonight and discovered that her mom's family and my dad's family knew each other in a small north texas town. What a small world it is. They are going to set up a happy hour with some of our old friends to allow us to catch up. This is really cool.

I dont mess with classmates.com. It has been nothin but trouble for me. I had a girl/ lady that I went to jr high with contact me a couple years ago. I still gotta listen to my wife about that. I figure if I didnt keep in touch after this long, I dont need to get in touch now. -
One of the two times I have had old class mates look me up, I ended up almost divorced.Comment

I recently caught up with one of my top running buddies from grade school and high school and it's just like yesterday. Same old Jeff, same old Kevin. I have plenty of new friends, but there's just something really cool about the old friends.

My wife is a lot better looking than anyone that ever talked to me in highschool. I used to be so ugly that girls would flee. I would have to fade back, turn on the fog lights and give them the different truck approach. Now they are all fat and nice as can be. Funny how that works.Comment
