Rattlesnake trapping

With winter approaching and snakes moving I've recently caught 2 in the last few days. They're denning under a friends ranch house. Thought I would try and get em before they got under the house. These traps are easy to make and might come in handy around your deer camp. Just put them against a wall where you think snakes might crawl. Hope this helps some of you

So far just this method. They work on the same concept as a live trap minus the trigger device. I prop the doors open just a bit and one the slither in, the door shuts behind them. I have recently built and set a larger trap with a minnow/perch trap type funnel on it. I have a compartment in the back that houses a rat. Snakes have to go through the tunnel to get to the rat. Hail screen separates the rat from the snake. Hoping this works so I guess we'll see
