Would you shoot....

After watching a old re-run of meateater.. he posed a question based on watching a tribe he was hunting with, kill a monkey (like animal..dont remember the name..but it was a food source for them)..and how he didnt like watching it...
After thinking about it...have to admit...it would kind of bother me too.. not sure I could do it...although I'm not entirely sure why...

I've always wanted to bring my M&P 15-22 to Africa to shoot a monkey or 3, or a big baboon with with a bow would be fun.

As for going on a specific hunt... probably only baboon...

If they were going to eat it and asked me to shoot it, then sure. Not sure if I would want to eat it though.

Are you sure that wasn't Uncharted? There was an episode similar to what you're describing but it was on Uncharted I believe and I watch both shows.

If so, that wasn't a primate. It was a rodent. If not, ignore my post.

If I needed it for food to feed myself and my family (just like that tribe) I sure would.

No problem shooting one. Based on hunting shows, outdoor shows, etc- they seem a lot like raccoons. Not going to ever book a hunt but if placed in a situation, dead monkey swinging.
