    BEES under my shed...

We have A LOT of bees under our shed. Last night I set off a fogger under there (I thought I plugged all of the "exit" holes but obviously missed one!). It killed a few but mostly just seemed to really pi$$ them off. And today, you can't walk too close or they pour out of there and the chase is on! How do I get rid of these things? I have a small hole to work with. No dish soap remedies will work here.

typical answer is gonna be call a bee keeper.

I called a bee guy a while back and he wanted $300 to get rid of them! Said I could keep the honey though. Anyway, I am NOT paying $300 to get rid of them. Anyone know any reasonable bee keepers in the Austin/Round Rock area?

It's not the most environmental friendly version, but diesel or gasoline works well, the fumes tend to pi$$ them off but direct contact with the liquid is instant death.

There are people around here that will come out and collect the complete hive, with a planted queen bee. Not sure about bee keeper down that far where you are. But It might be worth a shot if you have that many?

            Chance

Wait until a very cool morning to set off the bombs. The bees are very slow moving and the posion has chance to work.

Put on a bug suit, get an old tennis racket and go to swinging

yeah, I heard you can put on two pairs of jeans, two shirts, gloves, a hat and netting. Wrap legs / sleeves / gloves with duct tape and you have a instant bee suit. Ive got'em bad down at our lease too, they swarm about 40ft away from my trailer..........I hate to cut the grass !!!!

I was quoted $1200 to get them out of the gable end of my house. We eventually got rid of them by putting an extension on the end of our shop-vac tube and sucking them up hours/days at a time. The we put a trap over the end of the hole made out of screen wire. It took months to get rid of 'em, but at least they're gone. Good luck.

Sevin dust at the entrance has always got rid of them for us, takes a few day but eventually they move on.

Whatever you do, do it at night. They will all be in there & it's the time they are probab;y least agressive. Just don't keep a light on too long or they might find you.

Leave them alone right now and they will calm down- I sent you a PM about a guy that will get rid of them for you.
