My wife is a recreational photographer and she mostly enjoys taking pictures of our family and editing them very nicely with photoshop.
She has a Sony DSLR with 3-4 different lenses and a nice external flash. The camera takes great pictures but she does complain about how big it is to lug around.
I sent her an article earlier this year that features a much smaller Sony (must have her a Mirrorless model) that was about $1,000 and the article claimed took pictures at or near DSLR quality.
What is everyone's experience with these Mirrorless cameras? How is the quality of photos versus a DSLR or Point and Shoot?
Let me know what brands are good. Budget I would say is near that $1,000 mark.
As stated she has several Sony lenses for her DSLR, are they usable on a Sony Mirrorless?
Thanks for your comments and hopefully all this makes sense. Starting to look for her Christmas gift.
