About 60 yrds but she did it full out in about 3 seconds.
She crashed once, it looked like she slid into home plate. Got up and went another 10 yrds and died running.
Thus is how we found her.
She rolled away to run from the sound of the shot. Had it happen to me 2x with one being this year. Both of mine exited at base of neck breaking spine and dropping them instantly. Both of mine also happened at at 32-35 yard range. I'm guessing at that distance they are able to start to roll away as the arrow gets there.

I shot a doe on camera and couldn't figure out how I hit her where I did until I watched it in slow motion. She dropped and rolled her back before the arrow got there. The shot was only 20 yards.
Looks like you should be glad whatever did happen. From that angle and entry that low and that far back could have made a difficult tracking job. Better lucky than good so to speak. Congrats on the doe.
