Get rid of dead mouse stink in blind?

Went to double check the rifle blinds this weekend. Opened one and was hit in the face with the stink of two dead mice. Aired it our over night, but smell is still strong. Any tips for eradicating the stink?

Cat litter works for a lot of odors and no smell!

If you removed them then they will air out pretty quick. Not the best smelling cover sent but it still works. lol

Get rid of the dead mice, shake over the area around the dead mice with a big box of Arm & Hammer baking soda. It will help absorb the odor. Your could also place a silk stocking with a bunch of ground coffee in it and leave it in your blind and it will help absorb the odors.

You might try throwing a bunch of skunk scent in there!

Just kidding of course! I would try a heavy dose of baking soda

Activated carbon works best but you can do wonders with lime like you use on baseball field chalk lines

Leave the door open so a vulture or owl can take up residence , and you will think the mouse smell wasn't so bad after all. Kidding of course, should disappear quickly if there are no others in there.

Ozonics works. Let it run with no one in the blind for a couple of hours. Open a couple of windows and the for and let ozone dissipate. Works great. Used mine on my buddies used car to get smoker smell out as well.

A bag of charcoal (not the kind with lighter fluid) will work. Lay it down and split the sack wide open. let it sit in the blind with all the windows closed until your next trip and it will be odor free.

I actually keep a bottle of Tinks #10 Skunk Scent in my bow blind as a cover scent. I've never minded that smell for some weird reason.

Thanks to y'all for all the great suggestions. Knew I could count on the green screen. Mice were located and removed when I was there. I'll apply the suggested remedies (heck, maybe all of them) next weekend. Might just have to let that blind sit for a while before it gets hunted.

Kill two birds with one stone. Head to home Depot or Lowe's and pick up a pack of the no-mess bug bombs with odor eliminator. Set two of them off and close the doors. No bugs and most likely smell is managed.

If you have an ozonics, put it in the stand and close it up. Not sure if it will work, but we have used them in the past to eliminate odors.

                              Spray red fox pee liberally.
