I have always considered a gimmick but I do have a story that kinda makes me think there may be a little something to the HECS suit.
My brother and a friend of his were hunting in New Mexico for elk and mule deer. My brothers friend threw on a HECS suit and with my brother watching from a distance this guy walks a cross an open field not once but twice to within 40 yards of different bucks. He missed on his first walk and nailed one on his second walk. My brother was laughing in his mind when his buddy first put it on but he's now kinda curious himself.
If I had one I would try it but don't know if I would go out and buy one. Info mercials are intreasting though.
if it sounds too good to be true, it is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. my dad bought the whole suit, every thing for the 2 of us on a turkey hunt. did not work as advertised. we did everything normal w/ suits on as every other hunt. no difference, no better, no closer than normal. no turkeys harmed that hunt next hunt w/out hecs killed 3 toms that we called in easier than the hecs hunt. never wore them again.
I've got the suit. Seems to work well on deer and exotics. No real difference noticed on turkeys. I just wear it bowhunting. I did notice a big difference in a ground blind. Not much in a tree but then I'm pretty high up in a tree. I was convinced so I wear it all the time now
I got the set for Christmas last year. Only thing it's good for is September dove season. It keeps me pretty cool in the heat as far as the DVD that came with it it pretty much says you can walk up and pet deer and such.....ya not so much.
