King Ranch has an abundance of both. You learn to hate nilgai when a herd of them comes right below your blind during deer season, and you're not allowed to shoot them. A place that I hunt has bukus of Niglai and Javi's, I'm tired of seeing both lol.

Not my land, just a place that my uncle has managed for a few decades. He like having exotics on there. The owner rarely shoots any of them. Theres axis, bison, elk, and nilgai. I shoot the culls of the culls on that land, but its free, so I don't complain.
I take my better deer on our family land. No exotics there lol.

This is a first class outfitter that borders the King on the south side. I've been with them twice and would do it again. Great guides, great food and reasonable prices.
I've also head good things about Lomas Chicas.
Wow............just spoke to John Johnston at www.HuntingSouthTexas.com 15 minutes ago about Nilgai. 2 days of hunting with ranch house and meals is $3,500. He recommended June or July as they come to water for bowhunting but March/April/May is an option. He said, the ranch house is about 1 hour drive from his home in Riveria, Texas. I think this ranch borders the King Ranch.
