    Working from home today...

and my motivation level is in the basement.

Feel like curling up on the couch with my Reindeer slippers, deer print blanket and my Yeti full of coffee and watching hunting shows, The Deer Hunter or the Hunt for Red October. Might have to wash it down with Airplane or Dumb and Dumber...

Sounds way better than me sitting in the United terminal on my way back. I get to go home to a pipe that burst last night

Whenever I tell my boss I need to work from home we have an understanding. I do air quotes with my fingers when I say work from home and she laughs. It is understood that no work is going to get done.

I worked from home for a year or so with my old company, it definitely takes dedication and discipline. You just have to get into a routine just like you were going into the office. Get up, shower, get dressed and breakfast and the ability to turn the TV off and work. But there are THOSE days, just like you today, enjoy... :-)

Started my day that way but I really need to get into the office. May head that way shortly. I had a small river through my backyard that swamped the septic. Battled debris in my fence all morning trying to give the yard some relief

Set up Amazon Prime this morning. I'm getting ready to download the PrimeNow App and see what kind of damage I can do. Testing out the 2hr delivery.

Prime isn't bad. when I got it I did not realize that you would have to pay for so much. tv episodes, movies. I still use it for shopping.

That's exactly what working from home is. You just have to mix in a emails of sufficient technical detail and a phone call or two to camouflage your true mission

Between eBay and Amazon I'll kill some serious time...

I actually work better from home. I may "work" fewer actual hours, but my productivity in that time frame far exceeds the hours spent in the life sucking hell hole that was my office. No HR, or customer service questions to interrupt my flow. I may break for a half hour to workout, or shoot in the backyard, but the. I get back at it refreshed
