    Trouble

Okay GS, I am having trouble getting deer to feeder in daylight. I am currently trying hand corn with the great and all mighty vanilla, but no luck so far. I get on here everyday and have learned a lot from yall. I am just now starting to get a few doe to come to feeder in daylight, but there are probably 10 different bucks on this piece of property and they are all nocturnal. Any suggestions?

If they are coming just after sundown move your hunting spot a few hundred yards away and hunt the trails they are using. Catch them on the way during daylight. I don't think there is really any trick to get them to stop being nocturnal.

obviously your deer aren't to concerned with feed right now, find a good scrape or rub line and hang a stand! Move with the deer.

Just wait about 2 more weeks, then start using a nice doe decoy. That should do the trick.

just my .02 get away from the feeder. I haven't killed or seen a deer at a feeder in a good while. Find some trails going to it like others have said. You will find your deer.

Nocturnal activity might be related to pressure. How big is your property and how often are you there ? Are you quick, quiet, and scent free as possible when running cams ! All this relates to pressure. Deer do not know if you're there to watch or kill. It's just human intrusion to them.

                Spotlight.

Just kidding, all suggestions above are really invaluable. For me, I would back into the trees around 300 yards or more and glass what trails they are using. Most likely you will be able to see where they are "staging" waiting for dark to enter the feeder location. Then, find an ambush point.

                Good luck!
