Thanks for sharing everyone!

I commend you guys for testing yourselves out there nature and for making some good choices. This type of hunting really tests your spirit/soul because when you strip out all the worldly things (leases, feeders, scents, ATV's, high fences, and etc.) you're left with nature, skill, and your true heart which is authentic hunting. Sure there was the potential giant buck out there, but most of us were following along because deep down we know the authenticity of Hagerman hunt.

My late update.

RJet, you cant have the title of worlds worst bowhunter, that belongs to me.

I'll second, third etc. this from Blide- I commend you guys for testing yourselves out there nature and for making some good choices. 5 deer on Friday, plus a bobcat. The only shooter would have been the deer that somehow walked under me that afternoon as I was in the process of moving my stand for the Saturday wind- and my bow was on the ground. He wasn't anywhere as large as deer I've seen in prior years.

Saturday was a pain. I ended up taking a combat nap in my truck, sitting in the parking lot until @1000. Saw two deer later that evening, one unknown and a very small spike.

Sunday was cold, so I walking in 1.5 miles vs the bicycle knowing I needed to pull and haul a stand at noon- gotta prep for Thanksgiving. Only 1 deer that morning.

I'd do it all again tomorrow.

Excellent write up Doug. Love the pics. Agree with you on the way the H melts away allot and can result in a much more basic experience.
