Got a surprise yesterday morning when this guy showed up. Haven't had any decent pics of bucks this year and to finally see a little bone is exciting. Seem him this morning as well for a long time. I have him at 3.5 and is about average for Gonzalez County does that seem about right?

I've hunted here for 15 years and have only seen to deer 5 or older. That's my goal is to shoot a 5 or older deer and let the rest walk. Hunting pressure prevents deer from getting big around me but I'm hoping I get one in the next few years. If gets off property next weekend he's probably a gonner.
