    Rats!!!

Mice rats. Whatever is doing it I hate em! Left my hood open on my samurai. They got me two weeks in a row. Time for poison. Had to patch some wires together. Just enough to make it work. And last night they got me again. Chewed the insulation off a wire and started chewing my strap holding my battery down. Left my Brick of rat poison in Conroe. Gonna Have To go to town mid day and get some.

I have a Weber carb on it so a lot of wires aren't needed but still. That's just what i can see.
Died on me on my way back to camp last night. Had to mess with a few wires and patched em back up to get back to camp. Such a **** pain. Seen several posts about more rats than usual this year. I agree. They are taking over.

My dads as well. Last year he brought it up right before the season. Now we don't even. Stay in it. We use the bunk house again. Seriously thinking about a cat.

Go to Tractor Supply and get some Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent. Great stuff that will keep them away. We also leave large sticky pads around the engine near wiring harness' to catch them.

I may do that. Need to go to town anyway and pay the water bill mid day. There's a tractor supply less than 20 min away

Have had problems with rats/mice in my boat. They sure can do some damage especially wires. The crap and urine is worse.

I use moth balls in panty hose sacks. Then put them were needed. In the summer time the fumes from the moth balls is over
                        powering.

The boat is covered with a tarp. Really keeps the fumes kind of locked in and those vermin out.

Every now and again ,you have to re-stock those panty hose sacks. There are a lot of ways to help yourself but this works for me.

I have had the same issue. 1st i had one get in my truck at my house and die somehow. I had to go unbolt crap and move crap to find him. It was coming through the a/c vents. I had a few in my camper at the lease, threw out some poison and was good for a few weeks. Now i must have a big rat bc he set off both traps and drug them a ways but wasnt on either.

I keep rat poison out and bug bomb my camper with the green can after every trip. It keeps the mice out of my camper.
