Same here - mine was the bed that was squeaking. I put a high seat in and then used muffler clamps to lock the bed to the frame. Fixed it for me!

I was told it's the bushings. But if you replace they are still the same material.

Take a look at some Delrin bushings. Stronger and not supposed to squeak like stock parts. Does your Ranger not have the grease zerks I assume? I've seen people install them before.

Please.... Honda's are just as likely to have this happen to them as well. Matter of fact, I've seen a bunch of Honda products that squeak as well. This isn't a brand problem. This is just part of driving a UTV/ATV in a dusty environment.

It's the books that hold the bed down. Wrapping with electrical tape is a temp fix.

Don't use the oil on them. Get a can of white lithium grease spray. It will stick longer, water won't wash it away as fast. (My Ranger and Commander both had this problem.)

I put axle grease where the bed rest on the frame and took the rear sway bar bushings off and greased the inside of them and it made a huge improvement on mine.

Next time I take the sway bar bushings out I will tap them for grease zerts

Welcome to owning a ranger. As someone else said, loud radio or ear plugs!!! Ive done every mod I could find or thin of and the only one that helped some was a piece of rubber under the latches where the bed hooks on the frame.
