It's called Weather and Wildlife. You can purchase it online.

Yours is not much different than Montague County.

I shot a 181 old deer in the middle of the day because the rancher had seen the old man by himself in in the middle of the day.

I'd say the juice is worth the squeeze

Not moving this morning in Marion Co. My yard was full last night and today was like walking on marbles from all the acorns on the ground. Easy pickings. Bye bye corn for a while.

I just got a picture of the biggest buck I have ever seen on my place.... stuck at work.

Given the moon phase, approaching cold front & low pressure system, I'd certainly give it a shot. Tomorrow may be better than today

Big bucks are rare, but bucks in general should be moving.
They are in early stages of rut on Leon county with several responding to horns this morning.
I fully believe in midday movement when the right moon phases - if it is full and lined up.

                  Slim

I have been seeing very little buck movement during midday hours.

The big deer are as heavy as they are going to get right now, and they have no reason to get up in the hottest part of the day. Even if it is in the 70’s.

Mornings have been slow for the most part, no matter what the moon phase has been due to all the nocturnal movement. They have been up all night, are going to bed about the time folks are getting in their stands for the morning hunt.

The evening activity level has picked up dramatically in the last few days despite the moon being full and up before dark and still up before daylight the next morning.

I think the temps have cooled down just enough to allow those bigger deer that are at full body weight to move before nightfall without getting overheated. The younger bucks are always first on their feet, followed by the more mature deer.

The evening hunt is without a doubt your best bet right now.

Ok thanks everyone! I have another thread about the buck I'm after

I'm going to get in about 12:30 and sit until 3 and prob take a break.

Couple questions. I threw had corn out Monday night. The buck actually showed right before dark but he slammed on the brakes at the corn and bolted. He wasn't coming to the corn I fully believe l but who knows. He acted like he didn't know it was there and it startled him. I have another spot that a tad bit better for this wind that less than 100 yards away from where I saw and on the same edge of the thicket he lives in. No corn in that spot and a nice clearing on the edge.

Which spot would you hunt and

Since study after study of bucks wearing radio collars has proven that the moon phase has almost nothing to do with deer movement I would say the chances are about as good as they were on any other day this month.

He probably scented you near the hand corn.

Any rubs or scrapes near the 2nd set-up? With it being the same edge thicket I would hunt it especially if it's closer than the hand corn set-up. Meaning an earlier sighting/chance at getting a shot!

                          Good luck!

I'm in, but it has nothing to do with moon phase. Just hunting deer and once sun goes down I'm after the hogs.
