I like Miller Grass but I bought St. Augustine -
I used starr turf in Sunnyvale. I also did st Augustine(5 pallets in the spring). Very good dealings with them and excellent pricing. Delivery was flat $75 for as many pallets as you want.Comment

A couple years ago, I ordered 17 pallets from lone star sod in Dublin (I believe). Charged me around 400 to ship it to me but it was only $60/pallet. If you need a lot, it was well worth the shipping! I bought a few pallets here and there from gibsons in weatherford, but the last stuff was so sorry I ended up taking it back. Super sandy and would fall apart....if it wasn't a beat down I'd have picked up the half pallet I laid in order to return the two full pallets I bought from them...they did give me my money back though without a hassle. That being said, I had gotten some decent grass a couple years before that from them....so I guess it just depends on the batch.Comment

After I took back the two pallets I paid about $110/ea at gibsons, I went to Benbrook and bought some from king ranch turf grass. It is by far the best looking sod I've ever gotten....looked like well manicured golf course grass once I got it watered in! Bad part is it cost like $150/eaComment
