    Adobe Acrobat Pro help

Kind of a long shot but I know the TBH brain trust is vast.

I am trying to create a Pdf form that people can fill out and save typed data. I purchased Adobe Acrobat X just for this purpose.

I have created the form, set all the fields, clicked File, Save As Other, and chose Reader Extended PDF ---> Enable Additional Features...which is supposed to allow users to save form data. No matter what I try I cannot get it to work. The form data cannot be saved when filled out. I'm at my wits end. Can someone take a look for me?

File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Adding Text In Documents

Do you create it as a "Fillable Form"?

I don't think I did this when I created mine. Just saved it as a pdf.

Which version of Adobe Reader are the people who are trying to edit it using?
