Live hunt - Public Land

Got into my ground blind at 4:50 with basically no disturbance to the area. Beautiful north wind blowing in my face carrying my scent up the hill and away from any and all deer activity...unless they take the 1 trail 5 yards behind me.

I have 20-30 yd shot down below and am looking out over +60 acres of lowland /wetland now after all this rain. If the deer are moving, they will have to pass through my shooting lanes.

Love it, I have the carry bag too. Easy to pack up and go hunt. One downfall is the size, hard to walk through thick stuff and not sound like a legion of men crunching sticks.

Just had a big wide 4pt, maybe a 6 walk by at 100 yds. Grunted at him and he stopped and looked but so far hasn't come in.
