First world problem/dilema: Jeep owners advice please

Hey folks! In short, I'm looking for some advice. I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. It has a 6" suspension lift, pushing 37's with an inline 6. The Jeep is solid but needs some cosmetic stuff done for the interior and a new hood from being attacked by a tree in a windstorm, lol. I really like the newer 4 door Rubicons and I am torn between keeping the TJ or selling/trading for a newer model. Either way, this is our toy vehicle. I have a 2500 Chevy Z71 and the wife has a 1500 Chevy Z71 with 8" suspension lift, both are new trucks. So, what say you? Keep the TJ or go for the newer 4 door?

If it's your toy, keep it and fix it up. Why add another payment. Plus you will use it like it should be used and won't be worried about scratching it up.

I'd keep what you have. The 4 door will be less maneuverable in the woods and you've already got two nice rides, everyone needs a beater. I wish I had one, I had taking my lifted tundra through some of the places I do b

This! Put a cammo wrap on it also!

I'd be curious about the consensus of the newer motors. Have not heard much my self but thought I heard a thing or two that they weren't as "bullet proof" as the ol 4.0.

Even still, I think I'd rather have the TJ than a newer one.

Agree with keeping the jeep you have. You are already 4 door/4WD poor with the daily drivers. Plus if you ever go to the mountains you will find that even the 2 door wrangler can be a tight fit sometimes.

Thanks for the input! i do love my TJ, and it has been treated, well, like a Jeep should be. To concrete queen here! My wife is in accord with all the above. No reason to get rid of something that I already like, just make it even better.
