    Video problem.

Can someone help me on this video question? Fanatic. I ran into a problem on saving my video. I asked this several days ago with no replies. Thats why I'm posting it over here.

Fanatic-"Hit the save to computer button under finish movie. Then name it what ever you would like and select the folder that you would like to save it in and hit next. On this screen you need to select "show more choices". This will pull up three buttons for you to pick from. Select other settings and then on the drop down menu, select DV-AVI (NTSC). This will save the video in full DV quality suitable for a DVD."

Me-"OOPS, apparently my file size is to large to same in that format. It is a compilation of my whole season. About 36min. of video. When I try to save it, it tells me I am exceeding the 4GB limit something or another??? It will be about 8GB to save in that format. What now?"

When it tells you that you exceeded the 4GB limit, is it reffering to the amount of space still available on your hard drive?

Also, a DVD will only hold about 4.7GB unless you buy dual layer discs

More.....try picking the option of high quality video (ntsc) and see what happens.

I have 26GB of free space on that drive. Can't be that. The "warning" said something about exceeding the 4GB

My only GUESS, windows movie maker will not render a file that big. Maybe someone that uses the program will be willing to step in.

There may be a maximum size. You must be saving the movie as RAW and not compressing it at all. 36 minutes should easily compress down to well less than a half a gig if you were to compress it into an avi or mpeg. Have you tried to shrink the window size of the movie (i.e. change it from 800 x 800) to something like 600 x 600?

I just want to save it in what ever format that I can put it on a disk(CD or DVD) with high quality video. I was trying to save it as DV-AVI(NTSC) when it said that my file had exceeded the 4GB limit........ the rest was concealed , I couldn't see what it said. Any other format? I saved it as a WMV file and it was about 480MB but play back on a CD in DVD player was horrible. ?????????????????????
