    Trail cam SDcard reader.

Ordered an SDcard reader that connects direct to the micro USB port on Android phones. It works great with the recommended app. Will be easier than lugging the laptop to the lease. Thought some of you would be interested.

x2. That is way cool. How fast is it? When I use my sd adapter and plug it into my ipad...it takes fooooorever. Can you just view the pics immediately or do you have to upload them first?

They sell the same thing for an iPhone. I just picked one up that works with both my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. $32 after tax. Well worth it.

This is a lot easier and you can put other apps on it.

Yes. I tested mine last night. Plugged the card into the slot and it automatically brings up the card contents into the photo app. You can view them on that page and select the photos you want to "import"/save to your device or delete them from the sd card.

ive got the sd adapter for my ipad but its super slow and doesn't give me that option. What you are talking about is different and links with an app?

This is what I bought from the Apple Store.

Worked fine for me. Probably depends on volume of pictures. Since I was just testing it I only had between 1-200 pics across different brands of sd cards. I can see where a few thousand pics might bog down the transfer/import process. I am headed to the lease this weekend. Hopefully there will be a high volume of game cam pics to field test it.

Ok well this is basically what I already have, just without the cord. I use it for my Ipad. It just doesn't give me an option to view photos. I have to upload every one or selected ones and then view them. It also take 10x longer than my laptop. Now that I think of it, I never tried that thing on my Ipone. I will def try it

I have an I pad Air. I went to Best Buy and got the card reader that plugs in for $25.00. I upload my pics first. It puts them in order by date and time. This doesn't bother me at all. I can actually see what is in the picture.

Is it fast? Don't get me wrong, I can wait a min or two but my Ipad takes a really long time. Maybe something like 15-20sec a pic. My Mac zips right through them.

Yes pretty fast. I usually upload around 400 pictures in a minute or two.. I can also zoom in real easy.
