    Hogs along the Highway

OK so I am heading to Katy this morning, I am always looking along the Hwy to see what I can see, today Im on 71 and just before the 10E I spot a real nice Buck he is standing there just on the edge of the thick stuff scoping out the traffic on the hwy,so I air bowed him and made a clean kill, One down for the morning. I go on with my day and finish up down in Clute. Again on the road and on the lookout, not a very exciting drive until I get just past La Grange. I am cruising along and there they are, there were 8 of em feeding along side the frontage road and in plain view of the hwy. I really got to start packing my Bow again. Am I the only one who does this? I really need to get out in the woods. How many of you all seen hogs along the hwy during the day?

I see them all the time in south Texas. Mainly deer on the way to the lease. I have pro worry west of Lagrange no too far from 71 and there are more hogs than ants out there. Not surprised to hear of someone seeing them in the daytime.

I had 30 run across me in between Luling and Ottine a couple years ago.

Last fall I got out of the truck on 72 by Tilden and there were 15-18 just hanging out.
