A Buck Named Flop

Saw this guy last Monday morning--the 6th buck I had seen that sit. This pic was taken by my buddy sitting in the lower stand. Antler is hard attached it seems, and still covered in dead velvet--dark color. I say hard attached because while I watched him it didn't flop or wiggle a bit, just moved as he moved his head.

Very strange. Hope his pedicel (sp?) was just misplaced and that wasn't some injury.
