    Bird Peppers or Chiltepins

Does anyone know where I can buy a couple of chiltepins plants? I would prefer to start with plants versus seed.

      At a nursery.
I'm not an expert, but I think it might b too late to plant one.

Do you ever travel up Austin way? I have a couple in my garden and they grow wild on my lease in Hare.

If you can't find plants they are about the easiest plant in the world to grow from seed. If you want seeds I can send you some.

Thanks guys. I'll check the feed stores nearby.

I would agree it may be late to plant from seed.

Scotty, I don't have any plans to come your way but if that changes I will certainly contact you. I appreciate the offer.

How long does it take from seed to the time they produce fruit?

How many peppers do you want? I can pick a bunch and ship them to you. I'm going to the lease next weekend.

I would take a ziplock sandwich bag full. That would give me enough to eat fresh and then dry the rest of them. Pm inbound.

They are similar but Tepins are what I'm after.
