    Favorite Duck Call

What is the favorite duck call you blow? I've got a few and am looking to add another. I have mainly been blowing a local call makers that I had made. It is a fantastic double reed that has done well for me. It is his timber call(lower volume) and is a little raspy. Also have an old Haydels call that is super raspy but locks up easy. As long as you take it easy it has a great sound, but you have to take it easy.

Have several other species and whistles, but am thinking about adding a call with a little more volume to the lanyard, so what are you fellows liking? I have one from FDWC that I have been testing. A good sounding call, but very similar in sound and volume to the call I am already blowing.

Sure shot. There's no need to have 5 different calls on your lanyard. Find one that you like and stick with it and a whistle and you should be good to go

By far the best sounding call on the market with the Cajun squeal is the Califf ******* single reed by Barnie Califf out of Iowa. He's a 3 time world champ and his calls are easy to blow and don't stick and have the best quality sound. Not sure if you can run a single reed but this one takes very little air to run.

You're high as giraffe $&@@y, those products suck. It's like buying a bow, all calls fit everyone different and sound different depending on you're style of calling. Need to try a bunch out and find the one for you.

the wooden duck commander calls always perform well (at least till the get wet) but nothing seals the deal like a cut down OLT D2, provided you don't pass out trying to blow it.

JB double reed, Duck Commander Triple Threat, and a whistle. I only really need the JB and whistle, but the triple threat is so sensitive, that I use it to chuckle with.
