I'd sue Walmart.

On second thought just send them a really nasty letter how you have suffered mental and physical issues since hitting the barrel and will continue to have to seek treatment for these issues.

And then ask Yeti if they'll replace the cooler in the back of your truck because it was shaken up! (See how I combined 3 threads into 1??)

Personally I think that barrel belongs to the guy going to fill his feeders with pea gravel and he dropped that traffic cone out of the bed of his truck! 4 in 1!

Did the barrel have yellow blinking lights on it? I hear they are great for attracting deer.

If you will contact the Area Engineer and it is a contract project the contractor will be responsible for repairs to your vehicle if the traffic control (barrel) was incorrect. Pictures would have been good but I know it usually isn't possible.

Same thing happened to me in Dallas. DART owned the barrel.

They told me to pound sand, that it was their road, and I was fortunate to be driving on it (apparently they now own interstate 30)

I was ******, and wound up buying my own replacement mirror.

DART is a useless and corrupt organization.

Did this after I got tar on my truck and they sent mobile auto detail to my location for a full detail job, twice. I would be surprised if they didn't take care of you. Keep us posted.
