    Polaris Ranger oil change question

I refuse to pay 50 bucks again for 2.5 quarts of oil and a filter, then do the labor myself....what brand of oil do you all use and were do you get your filters?

I've heard a "rumor" that Polaris claims there is an "additive" in thier oil for the transmission?

    Thanks in advance!

As far as oil goes, go with your favorite synthetic in 5w-50. Amsoil is great but almost as expensive as the Polaris brand.

I use Amsoil, but it's not cheap.

Rotella T6 is Jaso approved (5w40)...or amsoil has 5w50.

Ran a wix 51356 or 51358 oil filter.

I play their game and use their recommended oil and filter. I buy their kit for $30 and do it myself.
