    AR buck or not?

I'm in a AR county and I have a buck on camera that I think would make a cool euro mount if the opportunity presents itself. I am on the fence about whether he is legal or not. These are the best pics I have, however, his right antler curls down and around his ear. Thoughts?Click image for larger version

From the second pic, it looks like his right side is NOT unbranched, and I don't think he's 13". Therefore, not legal.

Third picture makes me wonder what is really going on with his right side though. Hard to tell.

Doesn't look legal to me. Isn't that main beam branched? I thought it had to be 1 unbranched antler?

Looks like it's branched to me.

Probably messed it up during velvet. Not sure what your herd is like, but when this guy gets some age he could be pretty nice.

His right side is just bent backwards and doesn't seem to give 13" inside spread. Looks like he could have suffered an injury during velvet. I would say pass and see if he shows up next year

I'd pass on that basis and the fact that he looks pretty young.

I would pass on him and give him one more year. Most likely will grow back normal next year. Plus he's young and will look even better next year.

Run it by the GW, but it is 13" AT THE WIDEST POINT. This one should qualify, but I'm not sure. Would ask for verification.

I would say not legal. Let him walk. He is young and may be better in a few years.

His right antler is branched. I was thinking it is legal because I believe the inside spread is 13" or more between the left beam and where the right beam starts to curl back to the front. However, I guess that would be up to the game warden to call it.

No go unless he's outside on both sides for me.

Legal. 13" widest point. I'd let him walk due to age. Probably damaged during growth and will be normal next year.
