Just bought my wife a new Browning X bolt. I have owned an A bolt for about 10 years now and the only thing I dont like about the new x bolts is the change to a polymer magazine. My question is, do they offer an after market SS magazine for this gun? Have looked online but no luck yet.

I just got an x-bolt in 300 win mag. Would love to know the answer to this question as well.

I don't believe so. As much as I generally don't care for plastic on rifles, the polymer rotary magazine in the X-bolt's is well built, sturdy and feeds perfectly.Comment

I don't think there is a replacement metal mag either. I have been looking at buying one of those rifles for a few years now. I've never felt a rifle that has fit me as well as that one. I just love bowhunting too much right now to think of booking a trip where I would need that. But I will get one for the safe regardless.Comment
