For a while the company I work for has not been doing very well which has helped push me to look at working for a client versus being a consultant (which would allow me to do the work versus just manage the work). Well it looks like I am going to have to push harder and look at consulting gigs as well, lay-offs are coming
I have spent the last few days trying to justify people's job and based upon the backlog of federal work, I can probably keep my biologist busy but with our existing work load there is not a whole lot of NEPA and compliance work to feed the beast and since I am not in the home office back in PA, I have a good feeling that will be the next to go. So if anyone know of anyone looking for a compliance/NEPA person in and around San Antonio, please let me know. I am trying to get ahead of this so that way when the hammer comes I am not scrambling.
