Putting on a food drive for a local food pantry here in Irving. This will Run from now 10/8/15 until 11/23/15 the monday before Thanksgiving. My wife has been spending her fridays there helping pack and get meals ready for familys and we have decided to help take care of some of there needs.. I spoke to Kyle today who runs the food pantry part he said the main things they need is canned meat and veggies. If you are wanting to do meat it must be ground and in 1lbs packages. Also if you are wanting to help with hygiene products plz make sure it is travel size stuff. We are also taking blankets/ sleeping bags and jackets of all sizes its starting to get cold out there.. I will be willing to pick stuff up around tHe dfw area If needed or if we can express it that will work also. My house is locate in Irving I work in Irving also you can drop off at either of those.
