It's setting in accordance with direction. Up = North, Down = South

        That's what I figured.

You'd be set up good for an east wind. Heck pretty much any wind without a westerly flow. Haha

So y'all think I'd do better to fight the goats than set elbow to elbow with the other Hunter?

                New Lease, where to set?

I wouldn't feed goats and I also wouldn't hunt 100 yards from the other hunter's setup. Lol

I'd just set up a bow stand in that draw or a gun blind overlooking that area and give it a whirl.

                      Property is full of deer.
Just don't know if they're using the fenced in section.
I forgot to mention that it's a full 5' tall cattle panel fence.
I know deer can jump that, but do they if they're not forced to?

And cameras add to the excitement for me. If I see a good buck, it gets me into the woods more often. And I anticipate checking them.

And vise versa. If you don't see a good buck walk 10 feet in front of your camera you may not hunt. Lol.

Cameras are good and bad for me. Just depends on the reason I'm using them.

Lol, not me man! I get out as often as I can! Momma Kees the leash pretty tight so when I get a little slack, I'm GONE! Lol

Don't put up any feeders. Hunt trails, scrape lines, funnels, dry creek bottom. Looks like plenty of oaks possibly. Find acorns falling and hunt them. Doing this you won't have to worry about feeding goats!

Pretty soon bucks will care less about corn. They will be traveling that dry creek searching for doe and checking scrapes. If you want to feed corn, throw some hand corn out. Many times I have hunted new spots and tossed a little corn with deer hitting it the same day. If you hunt where they travel, they will find it and stop enough time for a shot. Good luck. I really like the layout of the land away from the other hunter.

I haven't looked at the East side of the property yet but I will.
But the west side is either really open or really thick with now where to put a stand in the creek bottom.
I think there's a tripod available on the lease. If so I can make it happen for sure if I can't find a spot on the East side.
