Was in the blind just before 6:30 ... a little later than I planned. Was snorted at by a couple of deer as I snuck across the pasture to my blind at the base of a large oak, nothing unusual here.
At 7:00 my feeder went off and I started to see some does coming in. By 7:15 I was covered up with them ... including a nice 10 point I've been watching on my cameras.
At 7:28 he got broadside to me at about 15 yards. I drew on him with my 2015 Ben Pearson Rhino X and let a Black Eagle Carnivore tipped with a QAD Exodus. Got a quick pass through and he ran for what looks like 80 yards or so where he dropped in my sight.
I've still got deer around and it sounds like some turkeys are coming as well, so LDP will be coming in a bit.
