    Blind Build Tips

I hunt where this is NO access with a truck or trailer. I took some plywood and cut it into 4x4 sections a few years ago, and built a blind, but it is NOT pretty. It's not level for one, so there are cracks everywhere and the windows don't open right. It's about a mile ride through the swamp to get to my hunting area, so I'm limited on what I can haul. I'm starting my oldest out this year, but would like to build a nice, dry blind to put him in. Not really wanting to put him in a pop up. Any suggestions on something SMALL to haul with? I saw someone on here had a small trailer they made or bought, and PMed them, but go no reply. Any thoughts?

I'd build a platform and set a pop up on it.

um I'm not sure what you do not like about pop ups but from what you are describing they are the PERFECT solution to your problem.......... don't believe any nonsense about pop ups not being good deer blinds. I lOVE mine, killed 5 deer out of em last year. they are roomy, comfortable, dry and quiet.

Can you possibly build a small box type blind and install some dolly tires to maybe get it in with a 4 wheeler?
I have done this with big hog traps before.

I might be able to, I was looking for some small compact trailer and I found one on harbor freight. They are 44x40, so that would be perfect for what I'm doing. I think i'll build it in pieces, and move everything out there. Thanks for the help!

Buy a Plastic blind similar to the Blind Turtle or Krivoman

Sounds like a great opportunity to build a lighter-weight platform and throw a popup on it.
