I don't leave the house without my release or my Thermacell. Mosquitos are terrible at my place in Wild Peach. I think they have the deer pushed out of the woods.

Well I finally got a buck Thursday afternoon. It wasn't the buck i have been after but a good cull none the less. I was in a tripod i had just put up and at 5 two doe came in the field. The buck stayed in the wood line and wouldn't come out. After looking at him close i could tell he was at least 5 1/2 and put the cross hairs on his neck and folded him. Put some meat in the freezer, now I'm about to be headed south for some horns.

Oh and I guess the does that were missed the first swing of rut are coming back in. He was swollen and chasing. He definitely smelled.
