    today's lunch ....

$7.50 for a plate lunch dinner .... I passed on the shrimp fettuccine , pork roast, and smothered chicken options since the tongue is the real deal

Blake, I love you sir, but I think you made the wrong call there.

Why would you eat something, that another critter used to eat?

You ever try Pappa T's at East Verot and Pinhook?

Never had tongue cooked like that, but I'm not opposed to trying it!

and here I sit with a week old pork chop smothered with peppers, onions and garlic to finish off with a raspberry yogurt.....then I see this. just isn't fair.

My stepdad stops at Poche's from time to time and get the beef tongue. He smothers it down in the magnalite just like that with brown gravy. That's some good stuff. It can be deceiving when you look in that pot and see a big tongue simmering down!

And, it's not "Lengua" when in Cajun land.....

Dang Blake, next trip.... that's were we gotta eat! I've never been there! That "Moo Tongue" don't do it fer me, but the rest of that board in the other pic sure had some stuff on it... and that e-2-fee shore looks good!
